Pizza Pizza! Chicken Truffle Pizza!

Cooking is always fun with friends. Making pizza is so easy and fun to do together, and you can each make your own pies with different toppings! The first time I made pizza was in college with my friend Annie and it was delicious. Last week I had a craving to do it again and I also had a craving to use truffle oil because i LOVE TRUFFLE OIL. if you don't like truffle oil, no worries, you can just remove that part from the recipe.

Here's what you need:

Pre-made dough ( I buy mine from Wholefoods. They have whole wheat, multi-grain, plain) or you have to google a recipe for dough if you want to start from scratch

- Cup of grilled chicken ( bought from Costco)

- 3 tablespoons of olive oil

- 2 potatoes, thinly sliced, blanched

- 4 cloves of garlic, minced

- 3 cups of mozzarella

- 1/2 cup of Parm cheese

- Salt and white pepper

- Drizzle of truffle oil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Lightly brush the dough with olive oil and flatten into a big circle.

Layer the dough with the sliced potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Make sure to leave a 1-inch border. Sprinkle the mozzarella and parm cheese over the potatoes.  Sprinkle chopped grilled chicken over the cheese. Drizzle the top with truffle oil. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the crust is crispy and golden brown.

Enjoy!

  1. I love truffle oil too. There is an amazing pizza they serve at Serafina like a foccacia sandwich with cheese in the center and brushed with truffle oil. I challenge you to recreate this recipe! It's delicious as a starter, or even a meal.
