Apple pie! Easy recipe!

Finally, apple pie! 2 weeks after my apple picking trip to Outhouse Orchards, i finally baked an apple pie with the help of Melissa! Thanks lady! i highly recommend having a post-work champagne happy hour with a friend and baking an apple pie. it was relaxing and very very easy. i still have about 50 apples in my fridge.....so i have 9 other apple pies to bake if anyone wants to come over and have another champagne happy hour with me....

the pie came out beautiful and well, as you can see, Bean agreed.

what you'll need:
  • 7 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup of Splenda/sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 package of 9-inch Pie crust

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

2. In a large bowl, make the filling by combining apple slices, splenda/sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla.

3. In a 9 inch pie pan, place pie crust along the bottom.

4. fill the the crust with apple filling.

5. cover with 2nd pie crust and press edges together to seal. Cut slits in the top crust.
